Prosecutor Says Kenya Has Failed to Act Against Rwanda Genocide Fugitive

(13 Dec 08 - RV) The chief U.N. prosecutor for Rwanda, Hassan Jallow, has said that Kenya has failed to act against a top fugitive despite information from Kenya's own police force indicating his presence in the country. Jallow’s accusation was accompanied by a renewed call to prioritize bringing 13 remaining fugitives wanted for genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity in Rwanda to justice.
