U.S. Vice Presidential Contenders Clash on Economy and Iraq
(3 Oct 08 - RV) The two US Vice Presidential contenders, Republican Sarah Palin and
Democrat Joe Biden clashed on the economy and Iraq during a lively but polite debate
last night. They both appeared on stage together for their only television encounter
of the campaign. Editor of the National Review, Kathryn Jean Lopez says the debate
helped the McCain-Palin ticket.
