(29 Sept 08 - RV) Thailand’s Election Commission opened an investigation today into
whether new Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat should resign for violating the constitution. Somchai
is believed to be in violation by holding shares in a company that holds a concession
from a state firm.The constitution bars members of Parliament from holding shares
in companies that do business with state enterprises.Meanwhile, thousands of protesters
continue to occupy the prime minister's office compound, over a month after they first
entered to call for the resignation of previous Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej. The
