The Stations of the Cross are Performed in Sydney

( 20 July 08 - RV) One of the most memorable events of the World Youth Day was when the Stations of the Cross were performed through the streets of Sydney. Spiritually moving for all involved, it was also physically gruelling for many of the performers, especially for Alfìo Stuto the 27 year old man who portrayed Jesus. During the event, he was dragged through the streets, hung upside down, and put on a cross. Sean had a chance to speak to him and Marina Dixon, also 27, who played Mary.
