(12 July 08 -RV) The diocese of Brisbane in eastern Australia is gearing up for World
Youth Day and Pope Benedict XVI’s arrival Sunday, by welcoming thousands of foreign
young people into its parishes and homes.
Part of the Days in the Diocese events
includes “building a path” from one parish to another as the young boys and girls
mark the way of the cross and get to know each other.
Younes Villameer is one
of 19 young Canadians from St Patrick’s parish Vancouver being hosted by a Brisbane
family.

how she and her friends paid their way to Australia:
