Australia Set to Welcome WYD 08 Pilgrims

(11 July 08 - RV) The Australian Ambassador to the Holy See, Anne Marie Plunkett, yesterday addressed journalists travelling to Australia with Pope Benedict XVI for World Youth Day.
She told them that the distance and the effort required to get to Australia make Australians more enthusiastic and more appreciative of the Holy Father’s visit. Earlier in the week, she spoke with Chris Altieri.  He asked her what the pope and the World Youth Day pilgrims can expect in her country.
