Uncommon Punishment In Japan


(26 May 08 - RV) A Japanese gangster was sentenced to death today for the fatal shooting of the mayor of Nagasaki during his campaign for re-election last year.


Tetsuya Shiroo had developed a personal grudge against mayor Itcho Ito because the city government had refused to lend money to his struggling construction business.
