Pontifical Council Conference Focuses on Positive Aspects of Globalization

(02 May 08-RV) The Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences is holding its fourteenth Plenary Session on the theme "Pursuing the Common Good: How Solidarity and Subsidiary can Work Together" The overall purpose of the meeting is to address how we must foster common good in the age of globalization. We spoke to Prof. Margaret Archer, of Warwick University in the United Kingdom who is co-chairing the event, about some of the positive aspects of globalization.
