Kenyan Bishops Call for Day Prayer and Dialogue


(RV - 19 Jan 08) Five people were killed today in ongoing clashes in Kenya's Rift Valley following December's disputed election results. Kenyan authorities reported that some 650 people have been killed and half a million displaced, in the worst turmoil the country has seen since a failed 1982 coup attempt. As the political crisis in Kenya continues, Kenyan bishops have called for a day of prayer and dialogue across the country Sunday. Fr.
