(10 Jan 08 - RV) Sri Lanka's Tamil Tiger rebels today promised to fight a full-scale
civil war if the government continues its offensive after scrapping the remains of
a tattered ceasefire. The Tiger’s also called on Norway to stay on as peace monitor,
even though the formal abandonment of the 2002 truce also ends the Norwegians’ mandate
