Terror Suspect Held on Immigration Violations

(16 July 2007 - RV) The Australian government today said that a doctor allegedly connected to a failed terror plot in Britain would be detained for immigration violations. The move comes after a magistrate in Brisbane ordered the suspect be granted bail in the case. Andrew Lynch is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Law at the University of New South Wales.
