Pope Benedict XVI’s message for World Day of Peace 2008 released.
(Tues.19 June, 2007): “The Human family – community of Peace”, is the title of
Pope Benedict XVI’s message for the World Day of Peace January 1st
2008. It was released by the Holy See’s Press Office on Tuesday - June 19. To recognize
the unity of the family is essential, particularly at the present historic moment
marked by crises in the international organisations and by the presence of grave
anxiety in the international community, says the Papal message. Every person, all
the people of the world are called to live and feel part of the Human Family conceived
by God as a community of peace, states the Pontiff’s message for the World Day of
Peace 2008. The theme “The Human family – community of Peace”- develops in a consistent
manner the reflections proposed by Pope Benedict XVI in his message for the celebration
of the World Day of Peace 2006 – “In Truth is peace”, and the message of 2007
- “The Human person – heart of Peace” .
