efforts to widen the search for an Italian Catholic priest kidnapped in the south
of the country earlier this week. The military chief said security forces had fanned
out across the Zamboanga peninsula to search for Fr. Carlo Bossi of the Pontifical
Institute for Foreign Missions, after the priest was taken at gunpoint on his way
