(2 June '07 - RV)-Church leaders in Great Britain are calling on the government to revise abortion legislation and are urging so-called Catholic politicians who support abortion to act with integrity and refrain from receiving the Eucharist.

Scottish Cardinal Keith O'Brien caused a media stir this week when he cited the statistics that more than 7 million babies have been aborted in Scotland alone since abortion was made legal 40 years ago.
