(23 Oct '06 - RV) The chief UN envoy in Sudan was set to fly out of the country today
after being expelled by the Sudanese government. The order came after Jan Pronk said
Sudan's army was mobilizing Arab militias in violation of UN resolutions. Pronk had
previously been at odds with the government over its refusal to allow a 20,000-strong
UN force to take over peacekeeping in war-torn Darfur. We spoke to director of Sudan
