Ending the War in Uganda


(27 Aug 06 - RV) A truce between Ugandan rebels and the government agreed to Saturday is being seen as the key step in efforts to end one of Africa's longest wars. The deal requires members of the Lord’s Resistance Army to leave their hideouts and assemble at two camps in southern Sudan while negotiations continue.
