US Pledges $230m Aid for Lebanon

(21 Aug 06 - RV) US President George W Bush said today that an international Force is urgently needed to keep peace on the Lebanese-Israeli border. The call came as he announced a $230 million aid package for Lebanon, including 25,000 tons of wheat. The Lebanese Government has estimated that the war damage will cost $3.6 billion to repair.
