Pax Christi Urges Compromise in Middle East

(19 July 06 - RV) Pax Christi, the international Catholic movement for peace, has called for compromise in the midst of the current crisis in the Middle East. It urged Israel to end attacks on Lebanon, and on Hezbollah and Hamas to cease rocket attacks. It echoed an earlier call for peace from Pope Benedict.
