WTO Fails to Reach an Agreement


(1 July 06 - RV) The members states of the World Trade Organisation failed once again to break a deadlock in global free trade negotiations. Top trading powers were unable to agree on how far rich nations should slash farm subsidies and tariffs and developing countries open their manufacturing markets.
