A Fair Distribution of Property

(25 April 2006 - RV) The government of Zimbabwe has announced that it will allow white farmers to lease land in the country for the first time since the year 2000, when the then President Robert Mugabe instituted a property redistribution program that drove white farmers from their lands. We spoke to Gunther Simmermacher, head of neighboring South Africa's largest Catholic Weekly Newspaper, the Southern Cross.
