(27 February 06 - RV) The foreign ministers of the European Union met today in Brussels
to try and form a common policy on various international issues. At their meeting
they agreed to provide $143 million in urgent aid for Palestine before a government
takes office led by Hamas. The E.U. also adressed the need to bring Bosnian-Serb
General Ratko Miladic to the International Tribunal in the Hague, before opening membership
talks with the country. The Auxiliary Bishop of Stockholm, William Kenny, serves
as a member of C.O.M.E.C.E. He says that it can be difficult for the 25 members of
the E.U. to find any common ground.
