Church Prays for Peaceful Elections in Liberia

(10 Oct 05 - RV) For the first time since the end of a brutal civil war in 2003, Liberians are holding their first free elections. The Catholic Church has joined with other Christian communities there in praying for peaceful elections. Fr. Augustine Whazina, S.M.A. Regional Superior in Liberia spoke to Suzy Hodges about the historic event in the life of the country.
