(8 September 2005 - RV) As many as 1,000 people a month are dying in camps for internally
displaced people in northern Uganda. Church leaders say that appalling sanitary
conditions, a lack of food, disease and poor future prospects are behind soaring suicide
rates. Archbishop John Odama is the Archbishop of Hulu, he says that the world
has forgotten about his people and that without the hope outside aid brings many are
choosing not to live.
